RYA Superyacht Tender Operators Training Course

RYA Tender Operators Course is the new 2 day course by the RYA that is designed to ensure that Superyacht deck crews understand the safe working practices required to navigate small fast craft between their mother vessel and locations ashore.

Tender Operators will have the opportunity to practice safe techniques during this course and receive training in navigating short distances by day and night. The course is predominantly practical ensuring that students will be getting hands on training, the best way to learn.

Who should do this course?

The Tender Operators Course has been developed by the RYA and PYA in response to a Superyacht industry survey completed by the PYA. In short the survey returned a verdict of "yes please" to the suggestion of an industry specific course. The PYA chose to work with the RYA as they have a global network of Training Centres and proven track record for providing excellent training. The course aim is to improve safety by engendering good habits without compromising customer service to clients.
