RYA Yachtmaster Certificate of Competence is the pinnacle of the RYA training scheme and is recognised worldwide. MCA deck officers, offshore industries, and superyacht crews all require the RYA Yachtmaster Offshore as part of their training/employment criteria.
This level of training is suitable for you if you have been boating for a number of years and have operated on board as skipper or navigator. You will need to hold the following qualification before starting the exam:
RYA Yachtmaster (power) training with us is a thorough preparation for the YM exam at the end of the week. You will get the best available training while enjoying the experience of working with a team of Yachtmaster candidates and learning from each other. At Marine Matters we preside over approximately 10% of the worldwide Yachtmaster (power) exam preparation training and exams; with a success rate of over 95% from our base on the river Hamble, on The Solent.
