RYA Start Motor Cruising Practical Training

RYA Start Motor Cruising practical training one day course is a safe, fun and cost effective way to discover motor boating as a family or group of friends. This course is available for students as young as 8 years old which makes it perfect for families of all ages. For younger children coming along (we understand babysitting concerns!) we will ensure they do not go home empty handed. On completion of this course all participants will be able to make a contribution to the running of the boat.

Start Motor Cruising syllabus includes training in safety and competent crew techniques to enable students to prepare for sea, set the anchor and secure to a buoy as well as take the helm so that they can operate a motor cruiser in local waters. Most importantly our professional instructor will make it fun for everyone, bring your children and see them grow before your eyes.

The Essential Navigation & Seamanship interactive course compliments this course perfectly.
