RYA Powerboat Level 2 Training Course

RYA Powerboat level 2 training is the most versatile and best attended of all RYA courses because it is available to all ages from 12 years old upwards and is an excellent hands on, confidence building course whilst learning in the fun and safe environment of The Solent on the south coast of England

This course is also available as Own Boat Tuition

Powerboat level 2 courses are 90% practical meaning two days on sheltered waters of The Solent from our River Hamble base. Your professional RYA Powerboat Instructor will show you how to safely operate a powerboat, no tests or exams simply enjoying the experience. Students attending this course will derive huge benefit from completing the online RYA Essential Navigation & Seamanship Interactive course.

RYA Powerboat Level 2 Training Course Fee Includes:

  • No fuel surcharges, marina fees or hidden costs when on our boats
  • Our 6.5m RIB to complete powerboat training, including running costs
  • Training by one of our specialist RYA Powerboat level 2 instructors
  • RYA Start Powerboating Book (G48) - worth £8.99
  • RYA recommended safety equipment to be carried during training
  • Foul weather clothing, if required
  • Powerboat training goggles, just in case of a rain shower!
  • Powerboat level 2 course certificate on completion of training
  • Qualify for  an ICC for boats up to 10m long
  • Qualifying for bareboat charter on our RIB, for family fun days out
  • Refreshments during powerboat training, but we do not provide lunch
