Marine Matters Charter is dedicated to the development of our training centre clients and consequently bare boat charter is available to our clients with a powerboat level 2 or day skipper practical certificate from our river Hamble location.
Enjoy the delights of The Solent with family & friends, going to idyllic anchorages & beautiful harbours to simply chill out or enjoy the hospitality at one of the dozens of restaurants. All this is available within an hours easy boating of our river Hamble base, at the heart of The Solent. Best of all you can do this with your own skills as skipper at the most competitive rates:
£200.00 + fuel per day - Bareboat 6.5m RIB Charter. For Powerboat Level 2 holders that have not trained with Marine Matters there will be a RIB familiarisation session at an additional charge of £60
£950 + fuel per day - Bareboat Sealine F42/5 Charter
Please note: Bareboat charter is not available for large single sex groups.
£1500 per day - Skippered Sealine F42/5 Charter. Includes Hostess, Soft Drinks & up to 40 miles of fuel. Extras are available - Please call to discuss your individual requirements.
RYA training is the prerequisite to the hire of our boats as we will only charter to clients we have trained. This ensures that the boat is operated by a suitably qualified Skipper. More importantly if you complete RYA training with us when you return to charter you will already be comfortable with the boat. Returning to a hire boat you know safe in the knowledge that the Marine Matters team will be on the end of the phone to assist with those hints and tips that inevitably come up.
Booking could not be easier; simply call our office to discuss available dates. But, remember these are busy boats so the more notice you can give us the more likely we are to provide the charter dates of your choice.
Terms and conditions can be downloaded from here but in précis you will have full access to the boat with the only operating restriction being that the vessel must stay in The Solent, be in a Solent marina overnight and you must not be at sea during the hours of darkness. This is ideal for Day Skipper practical qualified Skippers and Powerboat level 2 Skippers, their friends and families.
